Orange is the new Black

Orange is the new black is not just a popular show on Netflix but also a big theme this Spring/Summer in fashion! With designers like Altuzzara, Lacoste, Michael Kors and Prabal Gurung showcasing  orange in their Spring/Summer lines during the 2015 fashion shows, it’s set to be a big hit this year. I’ve always loved the color orange, so i’m very excited about this trend!

Orange is not an easy color to pull off, but it looks great on a lot of skin tones and is more versatile than you’d think.  I might personally steer clear of pairing orange with black to avoid a halloween look but it can be paired with your basic neutrals like white and tan. If you’re on the more daring side then you can get a little crazier with it and add pops of neon pink or even yellow.

Below is a couple looks put together into one because a lot of the items can be swapped to create different looks:

Below is a more casual, everyday, laid back look:

How will you be wearing orange this summer?

Xoxo,

Jess

Everything is glorious over here, in spite of the snow. I can’t wait to see the fashion extravaganza you’ll become when spring arrives. Not that you’re not amazing now, but spring offers so many more possibilities. I swear you’re a fashion-naut, going further and further into unexplored territories of self-expression through fashion.

I just hope you return to plant Earth safe and sound. Whatever the case may be, I wish you much success with fashion, art, love and everything else in life.
